Traditional rug hooking, used originally to create rugs for cold floors by recycling old clothing, is becoming a most popular craft. Originally done with mostly wool, today almost anything that can be cut into strips is being used ... even pantyhose and plastic bags. There is only one skill to be learned and tools required are very reasonable.
